Community Fridge

The community fridge is located outside the main entrance of the Courtenay Centre, in Newton Abbot. It's accessible 24/7 and open to anyone who would like to donate or take food. 

 

We collect food that is close to expiry or unable to be sold in supermarkets and make it available to take for free, in an effort to help prevent food waste. 

 

We also encourage people to donate any food they may not use - but do check the list on the information board next to the fridge for what can and can't be donated first.

The Community Fridge is run by volunteers and we're always in need of more support, so if you have any small amounts of spare time and fancy getting involved with this project then contact us now
