Volunteer with Us
We have many projects that we're involved with in Newton Abbot and are always keen to have more volunteers to support our activities. If you have any spare time and would like to get involved please contact
Community Fridge Volunteers
The Community fridge is located at the Courtenay Centre in the Centre of Newton Abbot. Its available to anyone at any time of the day. We relay on our amazing dedicated team of volunteers who collect donations from shops around the local area and keep the fridges checks and tidy. If you have any free time then get in touch!
Community Garden Volunteers
Now that our garden is built we are looking for volunteers to assist in its growth to enable us to create a thriving growing space to enable us to use produce from the garden in our community fridge and in our community slow cooker sessions.
Gardening Volunteers
Our gardening team maintain spaces around Newton Abbot with the permission of the landowner. These include the open space under Penn Inn roundabout where our team has carried out extensive planting since completion of the flyover The area has even won an outstanding Award from the Royal Horticultural Society thanks to the hard work of our volunteers. Why not get involved now!
General Volunteers

We are happy to talk to young people taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme about volunteering with us for your bronze, silver and gold award. Young people must be able to demonstrate a commitment to, and an understanding of our work before we will offer them a placement.
